GF: My Thought’s on Arsenal match; Rafa teams set out not to lose ~ our downfall, Arsenal’s defence was fragile, only seen after we had to chase game. If Carra stayed on or ref didn’t have specsaver’s appointment , we would have got point.
DM: We set out our stall not to lose which proved to be a risky gamble. We were committed enough but certainly missed The Greek & 23 Carra Gold. In terms of opportunity & bad luck, we had a fair amount of each. The officiating is in keeping with what we have received most of the season, ie. an abomination. I wish we could simply play Dirk up on his todd, employ decent width & play Stevie in deep mid where he’s untrackable when he forages forward.
Babel looked sufficiently motivated whilst Brave Dave’s first touch abandoned him once more. Pacheco needs a run & Rafa has now hinted at such a landmark event. As we have no Nando back up to speak of, a huge failure in terms of foresight & tactics, we need a designated target with the commensurate support attack to create chances.Anybody sporting the shirt will get my support but I won’t settle for less than Liverpool class when pushed. Dave just isn’t good enough, bless him. Arsenal were, yet again, on the receiving end of more luck than ourselves. We need to regroup & put a side on the pitch able to dismantle a Citeh side this weekend apparently without a certain Mr. Tevez. On the Europa front, goodness knows what eleven Rafa will give the nod to but he will most certainly have one eye on the Middle Eastlands encounter on Sunday nonetheless. A win against the Romanian champions & 3 points against Citeh. ‘Tis my prediction.
GF: I’ve only apathy regards Europa league. £ 32 for kop ticket or channel 5 on Thursday, it’s an inconvenience for Liverpool & me [ late night shopping]. My team selection reflects this ~ Cavalieri, Darby, Kelly, Kyrliakos, Aurelio; Degan, Spearing, Plessis, Aquilani; Pacheco & Babel. Liverpool’s priority must be 4th place & champions league qualification; it affects everything, from sponsorship to potential investors etc. What world class player will arrive or stay if we’re in Europa League 2010 /11? Why are sky not showing Citeh V Liverpool on Sunday? Regards game, we must win, hopefully Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy still unavailable, Rafa gambled Torres would stay fit all season and he lost; predict hard fought 2-1victory. YNWA

You’re so right about our priorities. This cup is a waste of time, money & all resources. UEFA are so greedy that they’re effectively killing footy. Have you ever seen so many injuries as in the last two years?! There are too many bloody games. Scrote!

I also think that Referees in the UK are particularly useless and dont afford players the protection they need. Torres is fouled almost constantly, but it seems the refs think he may be putting them on. This season has seen Liverpool suffer at least 15 clear penalties not given, a beachball deflected goal stand which should not have and blatant handballs ignored after the ref was only 10M away. I even recall Bosingwa kicking Yossi in the back with his studs last season when the ref was 3m away!!! I call it “Liverpool Rules” LOL
