Brendan has to take some of the blame for Balotelli failure at Anfield. Constantly playing different formations and square pegs in round holes did not help any of the strikers settle down. Balotelli needs another striker to play beside him. But Rodgers played him alone upfront in the absence of Sturridge. There were not enough creative players in the team to play to Balotelli’s strengths. Lallana was and still is a waste of money and space in the team. Only now with the purchase of Firmino, Liverpool has a creative forward to support Balotelli but Brendan doesn’t want him around anymore.
