Former Liverpool favourite Luis Suarez has named Philippe Coutinho as his favourite Premier League player.
Suarez, who scored 82 goals for Liverpool before sealing a move to Barcelona last summer, was speaking via Instagram ahead of the Champions League draw on Thursday.
The pair spent 18 months playing together at Anfield, with Coutinho signing for Liverpool from Inter Milan in January 2013, two years on from Suarez’s move from Ajax.

Together, along with Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling, they came agonisingly close to firing us to a maiden Premier League title in 2014 – with the Reds finishing second to Manchester City.
Coutinho has continued to improve since Suarez’s exit, winning our Player of the Year award last season, and starting the current campaign with that fabulous winning goal against Stoke City.
