Confirmed Liverpool team vs Brighton: Nine changes for Reds

Jurgen Klopp has made nine changes to his side for today’s Premier League trip to the south coast to face Brighton & Hove Albion.

Liverpool are looking to bounce back after two consecutive defeats to start the year, including an FA Cup exit at the hands of Wolves on Monday night.

Alisson returns to the starting eleven, whilst Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson also return.

Fabinho continues his centre-back role alongside van Dijk, with Joel Matip named on the substitutes bench.

Jordan Henderson returns to the side alongside Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri in midfield.

Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Shaqiri, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Substitutes: Mignolet, Milner, Keita, Moreno, Origi, Matip, Camacho.

Brighton: Button, Montoya, Dunk, Duffy, Bong, Propper, Stephens, Gross, March, Murray, Locadia.

Substitutes: Steele, Balogun, Bruno, Kayal, Sanders, Knockaert, Andone.
