I jog about 5km a day when in full “beast mode” and routinely do between 12-15km not with the missus every Tuesday.
I started suffering from this about 18 months ago a few years after rupturing my achilles tendon (like Lawro and Fabio, I still swear blind that I was kicked whilst everyone else says there wasn’t anyone around me for 5 yards!).
Guys/gals, this is no joke! Severe pain, even at rest, and simply unbearable at times. Then it goes away for months, without any intervention! Really weird.
When it is bad you have to power through. I am sure cortesone will help. When unbearable, there is nothing you can do.
Many a time, I have had to walk home like a limping failure after running 3 miles ‘out’ from home.
Like JC, he’ll manage, I am sure.
Can’t have a crock for a skipper. Gives the wrong message.
